Annual & 100-Hour Aircraft Inspections in Gastonia, NC
Your annual inspection is the one appointment every aircraft owner has to make, and the shop you choose shapes the whole year of flying that follows. At Aero Professionals, we perform annual and 100-hour inspections at our hangar at Gastonia Municipal Airport (KAKH), just west of Charlotte. We focus on clear communication, careful work and getting your airplane back to you airworthy.
Aircraft we inspect
We regularly work on Piper, Mooney, Cessna, Maule and CubCrafters aircraft, as well as the Socata TB9, TB20 and TB21. If you fly something else, call us. We'll tell you plainly whether it's a good fit for our shop.
Annual vs. 100-hour inspections
An annual inspection is required every 12 calendar months for most general aviation aircraft. A 100-hour inspection covers the same scope and is required when an aircraft is used for hire or flight instruction for hire. Either way, we go through the airframe, engine, propeller, systems and records, and check applicable Airworthiness Directives.
How an inspection with us works
-
Schedule: call or book online to reserve a slot. Have your tail number, make and model ready.
-
Drop-off: fly in or bring the aircraft to Hangar 3-98 with its logbooks.
-
Inspection: we open the aircraft and inspect it, and write up any discrepancies we find.
-
Squawk review: before repair work goes beyond the inspection itself, we walk you through what we found and what it needs, so there are no surprises.
-
Return to service: once the aircraft is airworthy, we complete the logbook entries and you're back in the air.
Add work while the cowling is off
An annual is the most efficient time to handle other projects. Many owners pair it with an oil change and oil analysis, an engine monitor or electronic ignition upgrade, Beringer wheel and brake upgrades, or avionics work. If you're getting ready for IFR currency checks, ask about our in-house pitot-static leak checks.
